Britney's last single "3" also debut at #1 back in 2009, she now joins Mariah Carey as the only acts to debut at No. 1 more than once. "Hold It Against Me" is only the 18th song to ever debut at #1 and the first since Ke$ha's "We R Who We R" back in November. This is Britney's fourth #1 single on the Hot 100,"...Baby One More Time" (two weeks, 1999) ,"Womanizer" (one week, 2008) & "3" (2009). "Hold It Against Me" sold an amazing 411,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan enough to also debut at #1 on the Digital Songs. The records don't stop there, this also marks the highest debut by a female artist, beating the 325,000 downloads Taylor Swift's "Today Was a Fairytale"sold last February!
Britney is also killing it on the radio.... "Hold It Against Me" debuts at #23 with 45 million first-week audience impressions, the highest audience sum for a debuting title in the chart's history. The song's No. 23 entrance is the chart's best since Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" began at the same rank the week of March 1, 2008
